...and before that, it starts with an idea. The idea for this blog came up to me a couple of weeks ago. We were discussing we-art during a lesson at the School of Fine Arts. One of the students said: 'Everyone is an artist nowadays, because everyone can put a video on youtube, so real art cannot be found anymore.' I was very suprised with her comment, 'cause it would be the same as saying everyone can buy paint and a canvas at a hobbyshop, so everyone is an artist.
I know Joseph Beuys once said 'Jeder mensch ist ein künstler', but I do hope he didn't mean that every stupid thing 'der mensch' has made must be considered as art. To prove good art can still be found on youtube, I decided to start a weblog about fine art on youtube. Not as in videos about art, but videos which is art itself. I will post a videolink each day in 2011, collecting 365 pieces of art.
